News: I Have Moved to Ottawa

Hey Folks,

Sorry that I haven’t posted for a while as I was away on a trip to Italy and then right after I got back I moved from Winnipeg to Ottawa. It has been a pretty busy and stressful time but I have managed to find some time to shoot some photos around Ottawa. I still feel like a tourist here, even though I’m now a resident.

I thought I would do a quick post of the set I just posted to Flickr and then hopefully I’ll be back in the swing of things with more regular posts in the next week or two.

Since I don’t really know where to go for landscapes yet I’ve been doing some architecture photos. And of course, architecture often looks good in black and white, so I converted them to monochrome. These are all from two of the national museums in the city. Here they are:

I believe this is the Museum of History. It is on the Gatineau side of the river and has amazing architecture.

An inflated balloon shaped thing hanging from the ceiling of the Museum of Nature.

Another shot of the architecture at the Museum of History.

This is the main entrance door at the museum of history.

I post to the blog about once a month, so if you want to get an alert when there’s a new post just scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Follow button.
